Terms and Conditions – Ceysaid Holidays

Welcome to Ceysaid Holidays! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.



Clients booking services provided by Ceysaid Holidays shall be deemed to have entered into a contract with Ceysaid Holidays, a limited liability company incorporated in Sri Lanka with its registered office at 46/12 Ground Floor, Marine City, Dehiwala, Sri Lanka. This contract is subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

Upon booking and full payment as outlined in these Terms and Conditions, Ceysaid Holidays will issue a booking confirmation receipt to the Client, confirming the payment and details of the booking.

Clients are responsible for reviewing the details provided in the booking confirmation receipt and notifying Ceysaid Holidays of any necessary corrections promptly.

Tickets and vouchers for booked services will be emailed to the client using the email address provided during booking. If tickets and hotel vouchers are not received within 2 days of booking, clients should contact Ceysaid Holidays Customer Services at +94 (0) 778 133 133.



The prices of services are subject to availability. Ceysaid Holidays regularly reviews its prices to provide clients with the most cost-effective options, but availability at advertised prices cannot be guaranteed. Prices of services may change over time and are subject to availability.

Clients may pay for services purchased through the ceysaid.lk website using Visa and MasterCard Credit/Debit Cards or by visiting:

Ceysaid Holidays reserves the right to cancel bookings in any circumstances. If such cancellation was not due to Force Majeure or any fault of the Client, the Client can either obtain a refund of the price paid for the Services or buy other Services from Ceysaid Holidays in replacement thereof.

If the Client cancels the booking or part of it, the cancellation form must be signed by the person who signed the booking form, who will also be responsible for the cancellation charges stated below. No refunds will be made until the original travel documents issued by Ceysaid Holidays are returned to Ceysaid Holidays offices.

Cancellation Charges:

The cancellation charges are based on the number of days’ notice of cancellation Ceysaid Holidays receives.

More than 30 days: Deposit only

30-20 days: 30% of service cost or deposit if greater

20-14 days: 50% of service cost or deposit if greater

1-13 days: 75% of service cost or deposit if greater

0 days: The total cost of your holiday



Ceysaid Holidays reserves the right to amend the itinerary or times of the Services at any time. Ceysaid Holidays undertakes to inform the Client of any major changes to the Services as soon as reasonably possible. Clients should note that flight times shown in the advertisements are for guidance only and may change. Actual flight times will be shown on the tickets.

Clients shall be entitled to compensation for the following major changes made to their itineraries of the Services, provided that such changes are not made due to Force Majeure.

Major Changes:

Significant change of resort

A change of accommodation to that of a lower category and/or a price

A change of flight time of more than twenty-four (24) hours

A change in the length of the vacation by more than twenty-four (24) hours

The compensation payable shall be Rs 1000/= per Client.

If the Client wants to amend details of their booking (such as changing to a different hotel or changing the departure date or airport), Ceysaid Holidays shall use all reasonable endeavors to accommodate the Client’s requests. The following fees to cover the cost of administration shall be charged for each person named on the booking and for each detail of the booking which is amended.

Administration Charges:

More than 30 days: RS. 500/=

30 – 7 days: RS. 1, 500/=

Less than 7 days: [Please provide the applicable fee]

The price of the new Services will be based on the prices that apply on the day the Client requests the amendment. The prices may have varied from when the original Services were booked.

Some types of Services (such as apartments) are priced according to the number of people utilizing the same. If a member of the Client’s party cancels, Ceysaid Holidays will be compelled to recalculate the cost of the Service based on the actual number of persons utilizing the Service.



Ceysaid Holidays shall use all reasonable endeavors to resolve any complaints from Clients if:

The complaint has been lodged with the provider of the relevant Service within twenty-four (24) hours of the occurrence of the event giving rise to the complaint.

The Client has used all possible steps to resolve the complaint amicably with the provider of the relevant Service.

The Client makes the complaint in writing to Ceysaid Holidays within seven (7) days of the occurrence of the event giving rise to the Service.

The Client hereby agrees to make a claim under his/her insurance policy to recover any expenses Ceysaid Holidays may incur in resolving his/her complaint and to remit the same to Ceysaid Holidays.

Any disputes remaining unresolved for a period of thirty (30) days may be referred to arbitration according to the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules by a single arbitrator appointed by the chairman for the time being of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. The Arbitration shall be held in Sri Lanka and be conducted in the English language.



While Ceysaid Holidays (CEY) has no direct control over the way its suppliers provide their services, all persons employed or contracted by CEY or by its suppliers are expected to carry out their duties properly. The Client acknowledges that CEY is a mere agent for the providers of Services advertised, including but not limited to travel services. Any and all claims regarding any failure or breach with respect to the Services must be made against such service providers.

CEY hereby disclaims any liability, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise, including without limitation liability for any direct, punitive, special, consequential, incidental, or indirect damages, in connection with the goods or services provided by any carrier or supplier, including without limitation liability for any act, error, omission, injury, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity which may be incurred through the fault, negligent or otherwise, of such carrier or supplier, and the Client hereby exonerates CEY from any liability with respect to the same.

In no event shall CEY accept responsibility for any cancellation, disruption, act, or omission which it could not have reasonably foreseen and avoided.

In any event, CEY’s liability shall not exceed the price paid by the Client for the Services provided under these Terms and Conditions.



Ceysaid Holidays (CEY) reserves the right to decline any person as a customer or discontinue dealing with a Client if their behavior disrupts other holidaymakers or travelers. If CEY exercises this right, it shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by the Client.

Accommodations booked must only be utilized by individuals named on the invoice, and the Client is responsible for ensuring no unauthorized persons use the accommodation.

All services provided by third parties are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective third-party providers.

Submitting special requests, including those for Clients with special needs, does not guarantee fulfillment by CEY or its third-party service providers.

When renting vehicles, Clients must present a valid driver’s license. Different countries and car rental companies have varying policies regarding age and driving records. Clients must disclose all driving offenses. It is advisable to obtain additional insurance coverage when renting vehicles.

Children’s ages are considered for the entire duration of the trip, including the return date. If a child’s birthday falls during the holiday, the updated age must be provided. Travel may be denied if the child’s passport age conflicts with the age on the tickets.


Certain destinations may require passports to have at least six months’ validity remaining upon return. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure all members of their party possess valid passports, visas, required health vaccinations, and appropriate travel insurance coverage.


**Ceysaid Holidays – ONLINE BOOKING**

You may make bookings for Services online through this site. By accepting the Services offered on the site, you enter into a contract for the sale and purchase of products and services (“Contract”) with third-party providers and/or distributors, as stated.

By placing bookings for Services online on this site, you agree to waive any rights to challenge the validity or enforceability of Contracts entered into on this site on the grounds that they were made electronically instead of on paper and/or signed or sealed. Please note that by accepting Services offered on the site, you are obligated to complete such transactions. You are prohibited from accepting Services where you do not intend to complete such transactions. By submitting an order to purchase goods or services, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to accept such services.

You may be bound by terms and conditions imposed by third-party service providers, including conditions of carriage, refund, and cancellation policies of airlines, cruise lines, car hire operators, hotels, etc.

We are not liable for any claims against non-fulfillment or unsatisfactory fulfillment of products and services purchased on your behalf from third-party service providers and distributors, such as airlines, hotels, tour operators, car hire companies, insurance companies, and other entities. Airlines and other travel service providers may overbook passengers on their flights or reschedule flight times – We are not responsible for any such incidents.

You understand that all services purchased require fulfillment and documentation, such as issuance of air tickets and travel vouchers. Fulfillment is performed during normal office hours. Therefore, any travel requests and bookings made require a minimum processing time of varying periods, subject to the specific terms and conditions applicable to the type of product or service purchased.

We will not be held liable for any claims for loss, damages, or compensation against non-fulfillment if you purchase a product or service that cannot be fulfilled between the time of booking and the time of departure. In such an event, refunds to you shall be in terms of the standard terms and conditions of refund provided herein.

All prices are subject to change until full payment is received and are subject to travel service provider availability. A booking fee may be payable on some bookings. Some airport taxes are not pre-payable or pre-paid; you must pay these when required. Some airlines or travel service providers have introduced fuel surcharges which may not be reflected in the prices shown and will be an additional charge. For travel services such as air tickets, hotels, cars, packages, or cruises – availability, prices, fare conditions, and class of travel can change at any time without notice. Routing restrictions and other special conditions may apply.

Many countries require that foreign nationals entering hold a passport with at least six months’ validity remaining. This information, as well as other related information supplied by us and any links within the site, are supplied in good faith; and should be treated as a guideline only. Passport, Visa (including transit visa/s), and Health requirements are the responsibility of all individual travelers. The sole responsibility for ensuring travel documentation is correct lies with the individual traveler. We reserve the right to decline any booking or purchase for any reason and shall not be held liable for any resulting claims for loss, damages, or compensation. In such an event, We shall refund to you all unutilized monies collected from you for that purchase.

You agree to bear the full cost of any booking, cancellation, and administration fees for any services booked but not utilized for any reason. In some cases, we may charge cancellation and/or amendment fees in addition to those imposed by travel service providers.

You agree that multiple overlapping bookings for the same traveler/s are not allowed and may result in damage and loss to us, which you will bear in full.

All descriptions, representations, illustrations, and other particulars stated on this site or contained in the Central Booking System regarding FIT Products are for general information only, and you agree not to rely upon them. We shall not be liable to you or any third parties should they prove to be incorrect or incomplete in any way.

You warrant that you have given express consent to:

  1. a) Processing of your personal data by Ceysaid Holidays;
  2. b) By hotels, service providers, and any other third parties engaged by Ceysaid Holidays for the purpose of dealing with bookings of products;
  3. c) Export of your personal data to any country in the world.


**Ceysaid Holidays – FORCE MAJEURE**

Ceysaid Holidays (CEY) shall not be held responsible for any acts, omissions, or failure to meet its obligations due to Force Majeure.

“Force Majeure” refers to an event beyond the reasonable control of CEY, which renders CEY’s performance of its obligations impossible or impractical under the circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, war, riots, civil disorder, earthquake, fire, explosion, storm, flood, adverse weather conditions, strikes, lockouts, industrial action, confiscation, or other actions by government agencies.



These terms and conditions, as well as the Services provided hereunder, are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute arising between the Client and CEY in connection therewith shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the provision of clause 6.3 above.
