Visa Requirements for Travelers
To apply for a Myanmar visa, ensure you meet the following requirements:
- Passport Validity
- Your passport must be valid for at least six (6) months from the date of arrival in Myanmar.
- Photograph
- One recent color photo (4.6 cm x 3.8 cm) taken within the last three (3) months.
- Passport Bio-Data Page
- A clear scanned copy of your passport bio-data page must be uploaded.
- Proof of Return Ticket
- A confirmed return ticket from Myanmar must be attached to the application.
- Hotel Booking Confirmation
- Travelers must provide proof of hotel booking for their stay.
- Tourists must stay in registered hotels, motels, inns, guesthouses, or resorts during their visit.
Processing Time
- The minimum processing time for a Tourist e-Visa (T) is three (3) working days (Myanmar time).
Entry Points for eVisa Holders
Currently, passengers with an approved eVisa are permitted to enter Myanmar only through the following international entry points:

- Kawthaung International Land Border Checkpoint

- Visa fees are non-refundable, even if the application is rejected.
- Travelers should ensure they meet all entry requirements before applying.
